Teaching and Training
At the emissions monitoring company, I was the chief trainer on a Unix-based data acquisition system, which was a computer storing data and preparing reports for submission to the regulatory agencies. I led participants from power plants in how the system worked, the reports it would produce and how those met EPA Part 60 and Part 75 regulations.I have led Sunday School classes and workshops on world hunger, teaching church school, and disability.
Over the years, I have led or been part of the leadership team of workshops on sexuality for youth, on sexuality and disability for caregivers and advocates, on mixed orientation marriages, and on many other facets of sexuality. Some of these include sexual orientation, homophobia, homosexuality and Christian scripture and churches, being a single sexual person, communication in relationships.
I have taught human sexuality in the human services curriculum of a community college, an introductory ethics course for another small college, and prepared a course on world religions (which didn't have enough registrants).
