Phyllis Carol Roe
September 23, 1947 - June 30, 2001
A tribute to my sister, Phyllis, the oldest of my three younger sisters.
Phyllis was Executive Director and a co-founder with her late husband, Michael Anderson, of the Samaritan Counseling Center of Hawai`i, now the Counseling and Spiritual Care Center of Hawai`i. She died during surgery in New York City to repair an aneurysm at her heart. The links below capture some of who she was, and some of the memorial services and remembrances of her.
